4. Record Snow Year – Lake Tahoe area, CA
It’s Tahoe’s biggest snow year on record, head for the slopes or snowshoe well through spring. Squaw Valley has closing dates posted for late June/ early July!
Lake Tahoe is a year-round playground with no shortage of adventure activities. Aside from the snow sports, in Spring you can enjoy hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, camping or take in the gorgeous views from above in a helicopter. Spring temps in the area average milder 40 – 60 F.
